Re: the hat of course
OMG!! You have to buy one of those fuzzy Russian hats!! That kicks so much ass I don't even have the words!! You looked awesome in that thing!! (and it probably added a couple of inches to your height...) I totally want one!

You're trip is awesome. I love the journal. I was laughing about your cruise part too...and the older folks dancing on the ship.

Hope you're having a blast...sounds like you're getting close to going home again.

Seriously though, buy one of those black fuzzys...it'll be a hit in the Pac NW!

Re: Sweden
I love seeing the photos of Sweden! Who else but the Swedes would have a female palace guard? Don't mess with those Scandinavian women! Cute photo of you sitting in the statue's lap, too.

Your beeg seester.

Re: Aero
Rich, you are living high on the hog staying in that tar paper shack in Aero. I had to print out the photos of it so Mom could get a good view of the hardships you had to endure while traveling. What do they charge for a night?hope the price didn't come out of your pocket.

Re: Trip
Hey rich. Nice pics. That's a cools place with the giant bathroom. I like the beach cabins, too. Safe travels...

Re: Photos
Hi Rich,

I'm loving the photos and your descriptions! About:"Shakespeare never came here, but there's a plague dedicated to him in the courtyard" did you mean a plaQue?

Re: whirlwind!
Hi Richie!!

Your pictures defy all of your self-descriptions...you look great! It sounds like you are having a ridiculously busy trip! I know it is mostly for work, but I hope you get to enjoy some "fun time travel" and get to relax a bit while you're on the other side of the atlantic. :)

Once Steve and I move to Eugene, OR in the late winter/early spring, I hope to make more frequent visits to Seattle. :)

Don't work too hard!!
love and hugs,

Re: your trip and pictures
Thanks so much for sharing your blog address. I can not get over all of the incredible pictures and the places you've been. Of all of the pictures you took, the night shot in Amsterdam by the canal was my favorite, and for the time being, is the new wall paper on my computer here at home. Hope to see more about your trip later and maybe we could catch up again one of these days?
